Translit’s birthday

On December 9, our company turned 11 years old.

Although it was not a milestone birthday, we liked it a lot and celebrated it at the exhibition, having visited the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art.

The Ural Biennial takes place every two years at different industrial sites — closed and operating industrial facilities. The 5th jubilee biennial was dedicated to the theme "Immortality"; it brought together more than 70 artists and groups from 23 countries and regions. Within 2.5 months, the exhibition displayed at 2 sites welcomed more than 130 thousand people.

The biennial has its mediation institute — professionally trained mediators conducted guided tours in the open talk format, encouraging all participants to discuss art objects and themes brought up by the artists. Our group had two mediators; we talked about different forms of immortality, asked a lot of questions, and participated actively in discussions. After the tour, we took part in the master class in abstract painting, using paints and brushes to express pure emotions.

In TRANSLIT, we encourage a creative approach to task solving and, like true mediators, help people understand each other.
